オヤはトルコの伝統技です。

オットマン時代のハーレムで生まれたオヤレースは、

その後、一般女性達にも広まり、

花嫁の嫁入り道具の一つとして、

人生な大切な時・・・結婚・出産、そして最後の日のために作ったのだそうです。

イスラムの女性たちの、

日々のおしゃれ・スカーフの縁飾りとして広まったオヤは、

作りの技もバリエーションが豊富です。

イーネオヤ・トゥーオヤ・ボンジュックオヤ・メキッキオヤ etc

さらに、トルコの地方ごとに得意なオヤも異なります。

長い歴史を持つオヤの技を使い、

今どきのコーデに合わせて素敵なオヤ・・・

そんな作品を目指して、カッパドキアで仲間とともに活動しています。

OYA is a traditional Turkish crochet.

OYA lace originated in the Ottoman harem, and over time, 

it became popular among ordinary women.

Brides would include it in their trousseau,

creating pieces for life's important moments—

such as marriage, childbirth, and even for their final day.

OYA also became daily fashion for Turkish ladies,

used to decorate the edges of their scarves.

There are various techniques.

Iğne Oya, Tığ Oya, Boncuk Oya, and Mekik Oya,

with each region in Turkey having its own unique style.

Using these long-standing techniques,

AYTURK, we are friends, OYA lovers in Cappadocia

to create beautiful OYA pieces that fit modern styles.

Since all of AYTURK’s products are shipped from Turkey,

it might take a bit of time to arrive,
